Cervical dysplasia
The tissues in the cervix are in constant change. Cells die and new cells are generated. When changes in the cell´s appearance and pattern of growth are detected this is then termed as dysplasia. Dysplasia can occur at different grades of severity and abnormal changes over a long period of time can eventually lead to cancerous lesion.
Therefore we recommend that every women have an annual cervical screening test to enable early detection of precancerous cells.
Our clinic offers this analysis with modern methods and procedures including:
- HPV test (human papilloma virus test)
- Colposcopy
- Acetic acid testing
- Biopsy
We would be pleased to elaborate further this examination within a consultation in our clinic.
