Menopause
The onset of menopause occurs in the second half of women’s lives and affects women very differently. The hormone changes during the menopause cause both physical and emotional adjustments, with symptoms ranging from light to severe. In some cases treatment may be required. Symptoms can range from irregular periods, hot flushes, vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse up to joint pain and weight gain. Furthermore depressive moods, nervousness and insomnia can occur as an effect of reduced oestrogen levels. Make an appointment with us in the clinic for an initial consultation to discuss all alternatives available to you.
